The Australian Wedge-Tailed Eagle series marks the first time in history that a former U.S. Mint Chief Engraver has designed a legal-tender coin series for a foreign world mint. Minted in Proof condition, these coins feature frosted devices and mirrored fields. Even better, these coins were also struck in High Relief, with concave fields that allow the designs to sit even higher off of the mirrored fields for an extreme level of contrast.

Certified Flawless and FDI
When these coins were issued, we immediately sent them off to Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC), one of the world’s top third-party grading services, for grading and certification. The coins we’re offering here are have been graded as perfect Proof-70 Ultra Cameo (PF70 UC) condition—flawless even under magnification! In addition, the silver coins have been certified as First Day of Issue (FDI)—a designation highly coveted by those seeking out the freshest coins possible. FDI coins are certified as having been received for grading within the first 24 hours of the mintage’s release.
Exclusive Hand-Signed Labels
In addition to being in flawless graded condition, these coins have been sealed in protective display holders with labels hand-signed by the coin’s designer. That’s right—John Mercanti, 12th Chief Engraver of the U.S. Mint, will have personally signed the label on your coins!
Limited Availability
Each of these 2020 Australia Wedge-Tailed Eagle Proofs has a strictly limited mintage. Just 200 gold, 1,500 silver and a mere 250 platinum coins have been authorized.
