Copper Bars Feature Adolph Wineman’s Classic Walking Liberty Design
The Walking Liberty Half Dollar series was struck from 1916 to 1947. With its iconic images, it is regarded as one of the most beautiful coins ever struck by the United States Mint. Created by German-born American sculptor Adolph A. Weinman, the coin’s design shows Lady Liberty striding towards the sun, her right hand open and outstretched as if in invitation. In her left arm is a bouquet of olive branches. Weinman’s Walking Liberty design is so iconic and beloved that it was resurrected in 1986 as the obverse for today’s Silver Eagles!
Beautiful Bars Struck In 99.9% Copper
Now you add that design to your collection as a one-ounce bullion bar struck in highly pure 99.9% copper! Measuring 25.4 mm x 38.1 mm x 3.175 mm, this beautiful bar faithfully replicates Wineman’s timeless design on the obverse while the reverse features a Heraldic Eagle with outstretched wings. Walking Liberty Half Dollars were a staple of American history and are even more popular today than when they circulated during the first half of the 20th Century. Through the ravages of time, however, many “Walkers” wore out in circulation or were thrown into the melting pots for their precious silver. What remains today is likely only a very small fraction of the total mintage. Pay tribute to this beloved design with this One-Ounce Copper Walking Liberty Bar. Order one—or several—today!
