America the Beautiful Quarter Program
Every year since 2010, the United States Mint has released five unique quarters honoring all of America’s National Parks, monuments and nature preserves, including those in its territories. Some recent highlights include the 2017 Effigy Mounds Quarter and the 2019 War in the Pacific National Park Quarter. These gorgeous coins are a great addition to any Americana collection as well as simply being beautiful coin designs. The America the Beautiful series can be collected in tandem with the state quarters individually, or in annually released Mint Sets that contain one of every coin currently being circulated. Collecting U.S Mint State Quarters
Most American kids can remember, at one time in their life, when they first found a quarter with a special state design on the back. It instantly set off a need to find the one belonging to the state you call home and once you found it, it felt as though you found an incredible treasure. After that, the need to find the rest of the states kicked in and to have all fifty was a goal most kids had but very few achieved. However now, it is finally possible to complete that illusive collection we all had when we were children!
