U.S. Type Set By The Numbers: 19 Coins, 6 Denominations, 17 Designs — And Just ONE Set Available!

Many times, “type collectors” are looking to put together a collection that represents designs of various denominations or various types of one denomination. This collection features a range of denominations — Cents, Nickels, Dimes, Quarters, Half-Dollars and Dollars — all certified by the Numismatic Guaranty Corporation (NGC) in grade ranging from Good, Very Fine, Extremely Fine, About Uncirculated, Mint State to Proof condition.

An Incredible Collection Of U.S. Coins Spanning More Than A Century

All in all, this collection features 17 different United States coin designs, and includes two first year of issues, many low mintages, three Proof coins, a popular World War II issue and some coins struck in highly pure 90% fine silver. With the coin market on fire right now, this set has been painstakingly put together and is truly one-of-a-kind, for one lucky customer. That’s right, there is only one of these available. Don’t wait to move on this one or you’ll end up being disappointed.

Here are the contents of this remarkable set.

3 ONE-CENT COINS:

  • 1851 Large Cent graded by NGC in Extremely Fine-40 (XF40) condition — the size was originally 29 mm until 1856.
  • 1902-P Indian Cent graded by NGC in Choice Uncirculated Mint State 64 Brown (MS64 BN) condition — a classic design, struck during Teddy Roosevelt’s presidency.
  • 1912-S Lincoln Cent graded by NGC in Extremely Fine-40 (XF40) condition — the San Francisco Mint struck the fewest Wheat Cent Lincolns. This issue has a small mintage of only 4.4 million.

4 FIVE-CENT NICKEL COINS:

  • 1876-P Shield Nickel graded by NGC in Extremely Fine-45 (XF45) condition — struck on the country’s centennial year and the first design for the 5 Cent denomination.
  • 1909-P Liberty Head Nickel graded by NGC in Gem Proof-65 (PF65) condition — the second Nickel design featuring Liberty’s bust, struck in Proof and has a small mintage of 4,763.
  • 1913-D Buffalo Nickel Type II graded by NGC in Extremely Fine-45 (XF45) condition — the first year of issue for the classic Buffalo Nickel design.
  • 1943-S Jefferson Nickel graded by NGC in Super Gem Uncirculated Mint State-67 (MS67) condition — a “war” nickel where the metal nickel was removed to be used for the war effort.

3 TEN-CENT DIMES:

  • 1914-P Barber Dime graded by NGC in Choice Uncirculated Mint State-64 (MS64) condition — heavily circulated but still in a remarkable high grade.
  • 1927-P Mercury Dime graded by NGC in Choice Uncirculated Mint State-64 Full Bands (MS64 FB) condition — one of America’s most classic designs.
  • 1950-P Roosevelt Dime graded by NGC in Gem Proof-65 (PF65) condition — struck in proof and has a small mintage of only 51,386 pieces.

3 TWENTY-FIVE CENT QUARTERS:

  • 1897-O Barber Quarter graded by NGC in Good-6 (G6) condition — struck at the New Orleans Mint, which didn’t strike many Barber Quarters, this coin has a small mintage of only 1.41 million.
  • 1917-D Standing Liberty Type I Quarter graded by NGC in Very Fine-30 (VF30) condition — a classic design, this is the second year of issue and Liberty’s right breast is exposed.
  • 1936-S Washington Quarter graded by NGC in near mint state About Uncirculated (AU58) condition — the fourth year of issue, this quarter has a small mintage of only 3.828 million.

4 FIFTY-CENT HALF-DOLLARS:

  • 1894-P Barber Half Dollar graded by NGC in Very Fine-20 (VF20) condition — struck two years after this series started. A low mintage issue with only 1.148 million struck.
  • 1945-P Walking Liberty Half Dollar graded by NGC in Choice Uncirculated Mint State-63 (MS63) condition — a stunning, classic design of a Walking Liberty on the obverse. A popular end-of-World War II date.
  • 1955-P Franklin Half Dollar graded by NGC in Gem Proof-65 (PF65) condition —t he Franklin was a short-lived series and this coin is struck in proof with a mintage of only 378,200 pieces.
  • 1964-P Kennedy Half Dollar graded by NGC in Superb Gem Proof-67 (PF67) condition — the first year of the Kennedy Half-Dollar and the only Kennedy struck in 90% silver and exceptionally scarce in this high grade.

2 ONE-DOLLAR COINS:

  • 1899-O Morgan graded by NGC in Choice Uncirculated Mint State-63 (MS63) condition — a key last date of the 1900s Morgan Silver Dollar. The Morgan series is arguably the most popular in the world.
  • 1923-P Peace Dollar graded by NGC in Choice Uncirculated Mint State-63 (MS63) condition — the last 90% silver dollar series, this 1923 Peace Dollar was struck during the Roaring ’20s.
