1914 $20 Federal Reserve Notes
The last large-sized “horse blanket” Federal Reserve note printed by the Bureau of Printing and Engraving! This 1914 $20 note features President Grover Cleveland, the only president to serve two non-consecutive terms in office. It also has a very stark blue seal and serial numbers. What really draws in collectors is the reverse vignette, which is titled “Land, Sea, Air” and displays different modes of transportation.
While it’s estimated that as much as 99% of these historic notes have been redeemed and destroyed, we managed to secure a small stash of these vintage notes. Plus, each one available here comes graded in Very Fine (VF) condition. Which means that while they actively circulated in commerce, with only modest evidence of circulation and no serious detractions.
