Based on the Forbidden City’s famous Nine Dragon Wall, this cube measures 45.67 mm on each side. The Forbidden City’s Nine Dragon Wall was built in 1773 to provide privacy for Emperor Qianlong. Measuring 96½ feet long and 11½ feet tall, the wall not only blocked the view into the emperor’s retirement villa, but it was also designed to deny access to evil spirits. This commemorative cube depicts pairs of dragons on four sides, with the Emperor’s Dragon receiving its own side as well as special coloring. The sixth side features a special commemorative design by famed China coin designer Song Fei.

And, to really augment the spectacular designs, the entire cube features an antiqued finish, that serves to enhance its High Relief strike and allows the cube to be handled without the need of a protective capsule.
