The coin’s reverse depicts a WWII battle scene on a beach in the Pacific Theater. Just 317,396 of these commemorative coins were struck.

The second coin in this set is the 2013 5-Star General Commemorative Half Dollar. Featuring portraits of Generals Henry “Hap” Arnold and Omar Bradley with the 5-star insignia above their heads. Struck at the Denver Mint, the coin’s reverse features the heraldic crest of Fort Leavenworth, the home of the U.S. Army’s Command and General Staff College. Just 47,326 of these commemorative proofs were struck.
