Struck with dual dates of 1991 and 1995 to mark the 50th anniversary of the war, the obverse of each coin depicts the faces of a solider, sailor, and airman looking upwards while a B-17 bomber flies overhead with a "V" for victory in the background. The reverse depicts a battle scene from the Pacific Islands. Each set also comes with a genuine 10 Sen Japanese note printed in 1945 for the Allies in their occupation of Japan.
