Get Five 80+-Year-Old Buffalo Nickels

Issued from 1913-1938, America’s Buffalo Nickel is one of the most iconic coins ever struck by the U.S. Mint. It exudes the American spirit, and now you can bring home a five-piece set of Buffalo Nickels from the last decade the series was struck, dated between 1930 and 1938, during the Depression years. Plus, each comes in Very Fine to Extremely Fine (VF–XF) condition.

James Earle Fraser’s Famous Wild West Design

Created by famed American sculptor James Earle Fraser, the Buffalo Nickel has always been one of America’s most popular coins. The Native American depicted on the coin is a dead ringer for Oglala Lakota Chief Iron Tail—though Fraser claimed it was a composite of three men in order to protect both the Iron Tail’s privacy and his own artistic license. The stout buffalo on the reverse was modeled after “Black Diamond,” a buffalo born in New York City’s Central Park Zoo of stock donated by famed circus showmen Barnum and Bailey. This timeless design is as popular as ever and now graces the U.S Mint’s annual $50 one-ounce gold bullion coin!

Buffalo Nickels Are Becoming Harder To Find Every Day

Millions of these vintage Buffalo Nickels have worn out in circulation or been recalled and destroyed by the government. Today, significant quantities can often be found only in private hoards and estate collections. As a result, these coins are becoming more sought-after each day. And now you can acquire your own ready-made “herd!” Secure yours now! Dates will vary.
