The Tall Ships Coins is a six-coin series featuring ships connected to the British Virgin Islands. Each coin is struck in eight grams of Virenium®, a patented base metal alloy in the Nickel Silver family, that’s composed largely of copper, nickel, and zinc. Virenium is a metal developed and trademarked by Pobjoy Mint which is light gold in color. The coins are struck in gorgeous Proof condition with beautifully frosted details rising over mirror-like fields. Released on behalf of the British Virgin Islands, a British Overseas Territory (BOT) in the Caribbean Sea, each of these stunning $1 legal-tender coins has a limited mintage of just 1,950. The custom pop-in presentation packets also include Certificates of Authenticity.
