Get Your Hands Up For This Outlaw Set

During the early 1880s, the newspapers of the Wild West blazed with news of notorious outlaws and bandits. Black Bart, known as the “Gentleman Bandit,” specifically went after Wells Fargo stagecoaches, but avoided violence. Billy the Kid was the opposite, killing his way through New Mexico in 1881 until he was shot and killed by Sheriff Pat Garrett. In 1882 another outlaw, Jesse James, met his end in Missouri after a life of robbing banks, trains and stagecoaches. This three-coin set of 1880-P, 1881-P and 1882-P Indian Head Cents struck at the Philadelphia Mint contains coins just like those that lined the pockets of these outlaws and the folks they robbed. Each coin comes in Good to Very Good (G–VG) condition, with the set housed together in a clear holder with a custom-designed insert.
