What Coins Were in the West Point Time Capsule?

By GovMint :

The West Point time capsule, discovered at the base of the Thaddeus Kosciuszko monument during recent remodeling at the U. S. Military Academy at West Point, contained six American silver coins and a commemorative medal. During renovations, these items were found embedded in the sediment of the nearly 200-year-old time capsule.

These artifacts date from 1795 to 1828 and include a Liberty dollar coin from 1800, a 50-cent coin from 1828, a 25-cent coin from 1818, a 10-cent coin from 1827, a 5-cent coin from 1795, and a 1-cent coin from 1827. Additionally, the capsule held an Erie Canal commemorative medal from 1826.
