What Mints Produce American Silver Eagles?

By GovMint :
American Silver Eagles have historically been produced by three main mints: the Philadelphia Mint, the San Francisco Mint, and the West Point Mint. Bullion Silver Eagles were initially made at the San Francisco Mint from 1986 to 1998. From 1999 onwards, production shifted to the West Point and Philadelphia Mints. The West Point Mint has been the primary producer of proof and burnished versions of the Silver Eagles, which bear the "W" mint mark. In the past decade, the U.S. Mint has also begun striking Proof Silver Eagles at the San Francisco Mint with the “S” mint mark.
