What Quarter Was Before the Standing Liberty Quarter?

By GovMint :
The quarter that preceded the Standing Liberty Quarter was the Barber Quarter, named after its designer, Charles E. Barber, who also designed the Barber Dime and Half Dollar. The Barber Quarter was issued from 1892 to 1916. It featured a similar design aesthetic to the other coins in the Barber series, which are characterized by a portrait of Liberty on the obverse and an eagle on the reverse.
